Keeping Lone Oak Special for the People Who Celebrate Here

We completely understand why photographers, families, couples and creatives ask to use The Ranch at Lone Oak Longhorns for photography sessions.

It's a beautiful place — and we're incredibly grateful that so many people want to capture their memories here.

But part of what makes Lone Oak special is that the ranch isn't simply a photography location.

It's an experience reserved for the couples and guests who choose to celebrate their events here.

Why We Keep Photography Exclusive

When a couple chooses The Ranch at Lone Oak Longhorns for their wedding or special event, they're choosing more than a venue.

They're choosing the landscapes, the walnut orchards, the Western character, the private spaces and those unforgettable photographs with our registered Texas Longhorns.

We want those experiences to remain distinctive.

If the ranch were routinely available for family portraits, senior sessions, engagement sessions, styled shoots and other private photography, the setting would no longer feel quite as exclusive to the couples who have chosen Lone Oak for one of the most important days of their lives.

For that reason, The Ranch at Lone Oak Longhorns is not available to rent for independent photography sessions.

Photography for Events at Lone Oak

Professional photographers are absolutely welcome — and encouraged — for weddings and other events booked at The Ranch at Lone Oak Longhorns.

Couples who have booked their wedding at Lone Oak may also use the property for their engagement or Save-the-Date photography session in accordance with our venue policies and scheduling availability.

We love seeing our couples capture the ranch in their own way.

What About the Longhorns?

Our registered Texas Longhorns are part of what makes Lone Oak so unique.

They are not available for independent photo-session rentals.

When appropriate, Longhorn photography may be available in connection with weddings and events booked at the ranch. Because they are live animals, all photography involving the Longhorns is subject to safety, animal welfare, weather and ranch conditions.

Editorial & Commercial Photography

From time to time, The Ranch at Lone Oak Longhorns may collaborate on select editorial, publication or commercial projects that align with the ranch and our wedding venue brand.

These opportunities are considered individually and are not part of our standard photography-session offerings.
